Viral Comedian Vic DiBitetto Brings Laughter to Peekskill
JAMES MIRANDA, Featured Writer
Comedian and internet sensation Vic DiBitetto performed his one-of-a-kind comedy Sat., Oct. 8 at the Paramount Hudson Valley Theater in Peekskill, NY.
The audience of over 800 people was treated to a night of relatable and raunchy comedy about life, family, and sex that had the crowd laughing out loud from start to finish.
Comedian Marion Grodin opened for DiBitetto with her raunchy and lewd comedy that allowed her to get into the audiences’ sex lives.
The Brooklyn, NY native came out to a thunderous applause and immediately started telling jokes about his own family, how his kids are useless, and how annoying the credit card chips are.
For example, he poked fun at how his son will come downstairs and look for food in the fridge. However, he’ll reopen the fridge 10 times expecting a feast to appear on the second shelf. Or how he sent his son to get lettuce from the store, but brought home cabbage instead.
DiBitetto, who was in Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, emphatically described how aggravating it is to go store-to-store and swipe his credit only to be told be the cashier that it’s a chip reader.
DiBitetto’s recent fame has come from his YouTube channel where he posts comedic skits, vlogs, and sports rants. His most famous video is “Bread and Milk”—a 28 second skit where DiBitetto is preparing for a snow storm and is freaking out because he has to get bread and milk—has 15 million views on YouTube.
DiBitetto ended the night joking how the video’s gotten him more recognition in a year than his whole career.
He then reflected and appreciated the crowd’s presence as well as acknowledged that he needed a night of doing what he loves in the wake of his mother’s passing.
