donquixoteThis richly colorful, humorous and virtuoso ballet follows the adventures of “The Knight of the Sad Face” and his faithful squire, Sancho Panza from the novella by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra.

Don Quixote (“The Knight of the Sad Face”) sets out to revive chivalry, undo wrongs, and bring justice to the world, and gets mixed up in the wild love affairs of the stunning Kitri and the seductive Basilio in the process. While his squire, Sancho Panza, employs a unique, earthy wit in dealing with Don Quixote‘s rhetorical orations on antiquated knighthood and the interesting situations he gets them into. This ballet is in three acts and stars dancers of the Opera de Paris. For further information click here.
